The campus of the University of Bayreuth

"The University of Bayreuth is more". This is the mission statement of the University of Bayreuth. That is why more than performance in research and teaching is encouraged and demanded there. A special feature of the Bavarian university landscape is that Bayreuth brings together fields that are otherwise strictly separated by subject and faculty boundaries. This interdisciplinarity is also reflected in the layout of the campus.

Most of the university buildings, the conference rooms and the canteen are barrier-free.
